RIA-JMTC hosts AMC's deputy commanding general

Senior leaders from Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center brief Lt. Gen. Patricia E. McQuistion.

Lt. Gen. Patricia E. McQuistion, deputy commanding general of the United States Army Materiel Command, recognized 11 Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center employees for their contributions to an execution strategy team.

Lt. Gen. Patricia E. McQuistion, Deputy Commanding General of the United States Army Materiel Command, recognized five Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center employees for their dedication and hard work at the arsenal.

Lt. Gen. Patricia McQuistion, deputy commanding general of the United States Army Materiel Command, visited the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) on Jan. 9. During her visit, she recognized five employees for their dedication and outstanding performance and 11 employees for their contribution to an execution strategy team.
 
RIA-JMTC Commander Col. David Luders, Deputy Commander Rick Nesbitt and several other RIA-JMTC senior leaders conducted a briefing with McQuistion. The focus of the briefing was on the arsenal’s workload, including reviewing the findings of recent studies on the challenges and path forward for the arsenal to improve its effectiveness. The briefing also included a discussion on results from an execution strategy team, which developed a predictive manning matrix that may allow RIA-JMTC’s senior leaders to predict future manning needs with greater accuracy to meet mission requirements. RIA-JMTC’s safety and SHARP posture in addition to the arsenal’s business plan were also included in the brief.
