The TACOM Community Report Team:

Don Jarosz, TACOM Community Report Managing Editor
Don Jarosz began his federal service at age 17 when he enlisted in the U.S.  Navy during the Vietnam War and served four years of active duty, achieving the rank of Journalist Third Class.  After obtaining a bachelor of arts degree in telecommunication from Michigan State University, he then spent six years working at several commercial radio stations and recording studios in California and Michigan.  Don then reentered federal service as a civilian public affairs specialist working for Army Recruiting, the Dept. of the Air Force and the Dept. of Veterans Affairs before joining TACOM in 2002.  He currently serves here as the TACOM Deputy Public Affairs Officer.

Bill Gattie, TACOM Community Report Assistant Editor
Bill was born and raised in the Washington D.C. area, but moved to Michigan in 1986 to begin his government career at TACOM. He was hired as an intern in the data processing field and worked in the Corporate Information Office until 2003, when he joined the staff of the Public Affairs Office. Since that time, Bill has written articles on a variety of subjects for the TACOM Community Report and says he enjoys his work because he is always learning something new and developing a greater understanding of how the TACOM LCMC carries out its mission of providing support to our soldiers.
